This idea was built from a camping trip I was taking with my kids and a friend and her son. 45 minutes from downtown Manhattan is a campground which is beautiful, has wooden platforms for your tent, and is steps away from a private portion of a nearby lake. I decided to take my kids camping as did my friend then we realized we had NO CAMPING GEAR. As I went thru my mommy friend phone book many wanted to come but no one had camping gear, thus a good idea was born. From things I saw while having tea in a Bedouin tent in Israel or beautiful fabrics I purchased from the Berber market in Tunisia I started my camping packages. I called another friend who wanted to be a part of  Beautiful Things Excursions. Gypsy Caravan inspired campsite!
 
We come to the campground, set up your site with tent, bedding, table cloth, thai hand painted sun umbrella ………..and you bring your necessities.
